What’s the deal with wet wading shoes?

I’m a big wet wader, I hate wearing waders and avoid it whenever possible, and I don’t really understand the design of most wet wading shoes. I have always worn my keens/crocs while wet wading as they allow my feet to breathe and are easy to clean mud and silt off of. Most wet wading shoes seem to basically just be normal shoes with a wading boot sole, it doesn’t seem like a terrible option but seems significantly less comfortable and I definitely wouldn’t want to have my foot just be soaking wet in a neoprene sock all day and get trench foot. Also I’d imagine they would fill up with mud and sand pretty easily and be difficult to clean out. Is there a reason to buy closed wet wading shoes?

I’ve seen a lot of videos online recently, primarily of sisters complaining about their brothers, calling people greedy for eating notably more food than others in their family. Now I agree that if you’re eating all of the food at the expense of others you could call that greedy, but the thing is that the men in these clips are never really overweight, suggesting that they need to eat the quantity of food they’re eating or they would logically become underweight. Obviously there are situations where families can not afford to get everyone as much food as they might want and that’s different, but generally, I feel as if it’s the parents responsibility for providing enough food for everybody and blame can’t be placed on one person that’s just eating what they need to in order to stay healthy
