I was trimming dead/rotted roots and have noticed these black marks on the stem for a good while now (1-2 months) they don’t seem to have gotten bigger but was wondering if I should worry about them. Also wondering if there are more roots I need to trim.

I had this orchid since February and have switched the mix from the soil it was in to an orchid mix and had to trim some roots that were dead and trimmed the stem since it was turning brown and now this leaf is yellow. This is my first orchid and I don’t know what to do.
