I’m embarking on a project to either paint or re-stain my kitchen cabinets. I’d like to know what type of wood I’m working with so I can research the proper stain techniques if I decide to go that route. My doors are solid wood slabs with a router design. No stiles or rails. I sanded the finish down to bare wood in the center. Photos are taken with and without flash.
