My question literally is what do I do to start learning to sing from the ground up. I really always wanted a vocal coach to teach me to sing since I have 0 real experience and believe someone to tell me my exact issues could advance me 10x quicker. I also know my voice is not like any instrument I’ve learned to play, so I feel like I need so much guidance. That being said however, is a better option just to do anything I can find online? I’ve seen a million “how to sing“ videos, but every one is just a long video on vocal exercises. The internet usually has too much random information to ever lead someone down the correct and chronological path for what they want to learn though. I say all of this with really just to hopefully get an answer to my question of where to start, am I correct in just going straight up with a vocal coach? Or should I start in a different direction? Any information helps.
