Hello! I just got a perfume sample which i really like. It is Pineward Murkwood. Im trying to find a way to make it last the longest. I am now using a bit of vaseline behind my ears and spray it once on top of that. However this perfume has a dark green stain and the stain stays on top of the vaseline and drips down a bit towards my neck which i of course do not want.

Are there any tips to make staining perfume last longer? Is the vaseline/moisturizer tip only for transparant perfumes? Its expensive perfume (for me) but i really like it. When i decide to buy it i would like it to last as long as possible without wasting anything.
