I know it’s probably too early to tell (especially since I don’t have the best quality of pictures showing my specimen). But what do y’all think my Pixie Frogs gender is? I am thinking (and hoping) it’s male based off its growth rate (which is phenomenal), its pointy head, and the fact it started to sound like it wanted to croak the last 3 days (I honestly thought it was my stomach at first, but then it did it again right after lol). But then I also had heard that females had made noises too, but not so frequently.
But I had got it in December of last year, and it’s already almost 4 inches. And like I said the last 3 days it had like tried to croak every day. To me it sounded like a stomach after eating some delicious Taco Bell. Also it’s starting to develop some yellow, but only a tiny lil bit of that yellow is around its mouth. But the first four pictures are the most recent, and it currently can’t fit in its washout cup no more (a super worms container I used to hold it in so I can rinse it out before I put it in soaking). Also the little plastic container on the side of the washout cup was the container it had arrived in as well.
