I don't think I'll get to have kids now

I'm 31F and have lupus and fibromyalgia. Even on my meds I can barely function most days - I'd have to go off them to get pregnant. But daily life is hard enough as it is, I can't imagine chasing around a little one.

I've been looking forward to having kids since I was a kid.

She's a Doll comes out Oct. 6th, definitely gunna be looking out for this one 😂

"Lucy isn’t a normal girl. Ghost. Victim. Killer. She’s a doll on a mission—to find the man who killed her and return the favor.

Lucy McQuinn has been murdered, but she’s not about to go quietly.

If she doesn’t get to keep breathing, then neither does Kyle, her killer. Possessing the body of an antique doll, she sets out on a quest for revenge. But it’s hard when you’re eighteen inches tall and made of porcelain."

People who hate on, and are incredibly uninformed about GLP-1s really pmo sometimes. I wish they could see how positive this community is, how much we care about doing what it takes to get healthy, how this medication is changing lives every day and allowing people to have a better relationship with food and their bodies.

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate all of you 💜 and if this is a cult, then I'm all in! Lmao

Any advice for dealing with haters?

I read it a couple months ago and still think about it often. I feel like it belongs in this community!

Looking for weird girl books where the protagonist has some form of physical disability? (Other than Hunchback)

I have lupus and fibromyalgia and have thoughts of writing about myself turning into some sort of beast lol, but I'm no writer

I'm conflicted by the "body positivity" of it all. Is it ok to not want to be fat, for more than just health reasons?

People really demonize GLP-1s out there, shit-talking others for deciding to go this route and not just loving their body the way it is

Eta: Thank you all so much for your responses! I feel much better about being able to articulate my own perspective on the topic, and I appreciate all the kindness you've shown here. What a great community 💜
