For those who experienced this side effect, how long did it last?

Is it possible it won't ease up at all?

I'm just over weeks on lex and it has been awful.

I have been on lexapro for about 3.5 weeks. The side effects have been pretty awful.

I had initial nausea and head spinning which thankfully passed, but I am still dealing with the feeling of a racing heart (heart rate is normal), i wake up every morning in a state of panic, and have so much trouble sleeping. My jaw clenching/teeth grinding has become considerably worse. My ears ache and I have headaches every day. I've also managed to grind through my night guard.

I am so tired and zonked out all day.

I'm completely apathetic, which i kind of don't mind as it's preferable to always being anxious, but i guess it may get old.

I am on 10mg. The doctor advised just to keep going for now to see if there is any improvement, but at this point, is it likely?

How long do you put up with the side effects especially when they impact quality of life?
