I recently accompanied a family member to the ER for a non-heart related issue.
When we arrived, we let the staff know that she was on high dose B vitamins (including Biotin) and that she had a genetic calcium channelopathy and a Renal Tubule wasting disorder. Her POC Troponin came back as 365, and her hs-cTn was 7.
What may have been happening with the numbers?
