I finally upgraded from a cobra mk 3 to a mk 5. In the mk 3 I could hold my own and often kill the npc. But in my mk 5 I cannot get him in my sights. I try slowing way down to turn faster but usually he kills me before I can even find him. Even worse, I usually get killed in less than 30s. The mk 3 could last several minutes.

What am I doing wrong then, I thought the mk 5 was an upgrade, I assume mainly just pumped up stats. I have been dropped enough times now that I may have to go back to the sidewinder so the redeployment costs aren't so high.
