Taking ECE 2039 before ECE 2010?

Considering taking ECE 2039 over the summer. It would be my first ECE class at WPI. I saw on the course catalog that there is no recommended ECE background, only basic computer programming knowledge.

  1. Would you advise I take 2010 first, or does it really not matter that much?

  2. In terms of programming, what languages/what extent of coding should I expect?

Was trying to register for a 7th class in the Spring '27 semester and got this error - anyone know how to get past it, or do I need to talk to someone?

Trying to register for 7 classes for Spring 2027, which would put me at exactly 21 credits (the maximum allowed per semester). When trying to register for the 7th class, I get this error in workday. All classes are 3-credit undergraduates, so I'm curious why this error is thrown.
