Hi!
Today I found this doll at a flea market, and (after some minor haggling) managed to buy it for $6.00 down from its original offered price of 10 dollars. She's a late 1972 Blythe doll in either raven or brunette in fair condition, and she came as-is with no box, stand, accessories, or original clothes. Note that she has no cracks whatsoever (note even the butt) and aside from a minor superficial cut on one of her calves on the front is in pretty good shape aside from the grime and yellowing. I should add that I took this under harsh artificial lighting, if the photos look over-exposed that's the reason why. I was wondering how much she's worth and how much she's worth after minor restorative work.
For context, I'm new to the whole Blythe scene, though I've been collecting/restoring/customizing dolls/toys in general for the last ten or so years. I was vaguely aware of th Pullip/Blythe subculture but always brushed it off because I was intimidated and assumed pretension. It was for this reason that I managed to take an interest in this doll in question, as I was aware of how insanely expensive these can get. What I was NOT aware of was the context as to WHY these dolls were so expensive, which I have since rectified as far as this gap in my knowledge goes. That said, I'm certain I could do minor restorative cosmetic work in terms of cleaning off the grime and discoloration, but it's fiddling around with the pullstring, eyes, and head that I'm apprehensive about. I'm always eager for advice!

I'm really surprised by the quality of this release. It´s first time in a long time that I bought a blythe doll again, and the quality is really much better than it was before. Really wow!
