Riversidefm Magic Clips?

I’ve been using Riversidefm since December and it’s been good up until recently.

One of the biggest issues, for me, came last night.

Yesterday morning, I opened the app and clicked on “For You” from a recording and exported a Magic Clip generated by Riversidefm. Last night, when I opened the app to check some Magic Clips made for our most recent episode, I got a prompt to update the app and it wouldn’t let me use it, otherwise.

I clicked to update, and when I did, I clicked on “For You” and there were NO Magic Clips in the “For You” section anymore. Just a message that read;

Top moments will appear here

Magic Clips are created for recordings 5 min and more.

Record something longer to try it out.

I contacted customer service and they explained that web recordings will not have Magic Clips on the app and app recordings won’t have Magic Clips on the web. And they explained this as if this were the case the whole time, but it has only happened, to me, last night.

I generally use this feature through the app because I’m not always able to be at a computer and it makes it easy for me to export, download and post on my social media pages.

I’ve contacted support in hopes that they will fix this issue, but again, they explained it as if cross platform Magic Clips wasn’t a thing the whole time. That’s just not true. So I just want to bring this here and see if there are any other people going through the same thing.

So, I recently got a Speed Editor, which I'm loving, and digging into multi-cam edits. I record my podcast on Riverside, so it's me and a remote guest. I'm having no trouble creating the multi-cam clip, with me as one camera and my guest is the second. Switching between the two is not problem but I'm not sure how to go about adding a 3rd camera angle, where both my guest and I are on the screen at the same time. I'm guessing I need to create a 3rd track, with both audio tracks, premixed into one, and do the same with the two video tracks. Is this the way to do it, or is there a better way?
