My Ather 450X 2025 3.7KW HR getting latest stack 7.3.0
Change log showing voice on ather, crash alert, locksafe option added also they added smooth road suggestions ( a features of potholes alert)
Currently voice on ather not working due to ather app support not available only currently crash alert and lock safe working fine
• Locksafe Needed 5 digit OTP & last 4 digits of vehicle registration number for lock and unlock needed only 5 digit OTP but fun fact it's only lock motor (Cut off) not locking both front and rear wheel but u can track vahicle live where is vahicle
• Crash Alert: The system differentiates between minor bumps and high-intensity impacts. It immediately notifies up to 3 saved contacts with your live location. In a crash, the screen displays emergency contact details, helping bystanders assist, even if the rider is unconscious
* Note 👇smooth route suggest feature not mentioned in change log but we got this update also
• Pothole Alerts ( Smooth Route Suggestions )-
Previously map suggest 2 type drop location after latest update 3 type road suggest ( including smooth road suggestions)
Even though this feature was available in the app it didn't work properly and recently it started working.

Hi everyone, I've just received the 7.3 Atherstack update. I was really excited to use the "Voice on Ather" feature. But unfortunately , I'm not able to use this feature as there were no options found on the app to select the "Voice on Ather" button. What are your thoughts on this?
"Charging may take longer than usual. Check whether charger fan is working. If not; clean gently from outside with soft brush ensuring no damage. If problem persist, visit an authorized service station.

Just bought myself a new river indie a month and few days ago. Total kms on odometer is around 722. App on landing page shows it properly but inside it shows I rode 40k km😱. Also no of battery charging shows only 3.
Here are Few tips if you are beginner for owing a EV.
3 Things you need to keep in mind
This can be divided into two parts,
What happens Beyond 80%
Charging a battery to 100% pushes the lithium ions into a high-voltage state. Holding them there for long periods (like leaving the EV parked at 100% overnight) creates chemical stress that degrades the battery's internal structure faster.
Why stay above 20%?
As the charge drops very low, internal resistance rises again. This makes the battery work harder to provide the same amount of power, which can lead to localized heating and strain.
2. What is cell Balancing ?
The BMS estimates your remaining range by tracking voltage and "counting" the energy going in and out. However, if you only ever charge between 20% and 80%, the software starts to lose track of where the actual "top" and "bottom" of the battery are.
Without a 100% reference point, the range estimate (the "State of Charge") can become inaccurate.
Charging to 100% provides a clear "ceiling." This recalibrates the sensors, ensuring that when the EV says you have 10% left, it’s an accurate reflection of the physical energy remaining.
3. Why to Wait 30min after Ride for a re-charge?
Waiting about 30 minutes after a ride before plugging in is a strategy mainly focused on thermal management.
Charging is also an exothermic process (it creates heat). If you plug in immediately, the charging heat is added to the existing driving heat. This can push the battery into a temperature range where the chemistry degrades faster.
Also, always try to park your vehicle in shade, avoid vehicle heating up especially for a EV scooter as there is no cooling mechanism built-in unlike EV cars.
I have a river indie and I want to know whether the tyre change is possible at service centre or should I take it somewhere else??
A lot of people follow the 20-80 rule for charging your EVs.
Is this necessary? Also does this have any impact on the EVs.
