Telling your staffer that she wrote a "complex chapter" in your heart? What a sophisticated way of saying "me horny"

My new job has me eating humble pie

I have 8 YOE and just started a new PM role in January. I’ve never been a PM before and this role is a mix of management and design. I have to be firing on all cylinders all the time. I was very confident going into this role but it’s been a steep learning curve and every day I’m reminded how much I have to learn. If I had to give my EIT self some advice, it’s find a really good engineer to work under. I realize now how shitty my previous bosses have been for technical development and wish I had figured it out sooner.
