I think I like this format a lot and I am looking to get the academy decks soon. However I would also like to know if there are any archetypes that aren't from any particular deck and can be made from packs or other cards legal in the format.
So the thing that I like about Yu-Gi-Oh is the extensive archetype support and focus of some decks.
I recently proxies some GOAT decks but I was just informed that are considered tribal decks and not so much archetypes. I want to have a few decks to play with friends and get people into the game(at least 4, maybe 8 in the future). Money isn't an issue as I plan to print everything.
What format would you suggest I use and why ? (I also considered speed duels for its affordability and simplicity but the skill cards don't sit right with me).
I want to have some miniatures to play with friends for a budget.
Hopefully in the future there will be opportunities to play with other people or introduce them to the hobby. Probably will be playing with OPR schirmish.
I am interested in gameplay and I don't want to paint. I am trying to decide on what's best. Paper miniatures in my experience are not that good with storage and getting them to stay standing. Tokens seem like a decent idea but I am not sure if they will be that exciting. Acrylic 2d miniatures are by far the pricier option.
Which one would you go with ? Which would you avoid at all costs? Is there an option you would refuse to play against or leave you with a sour taste ?
This Friday an lgc near me will host its first tournament.
I have a Huduni and a Genie and a friend will lend me their Achilles or Shakespeare (whichever one I choose since I have played with them at the past and found them quite fun)
We will all have 3 characters and ban one character per round deciding on which one to play from the remaining 2. 1v1 all matches. Any tips so I can have a better performance?
So me and some friends bought the gothic precons and got one each.
I want to have a few precon sized decks and play the game casually. The cheapest option I have found is either getting the beta precons, which I am afraid might feel a bit too basic or get singles for a precon sized deck. The issue is that trolls of the realm have a 15€ min shipping and it's the best option I have found since they seem to be the most trustworthy European singles sellers. I also toyed with the idea of getting playsets of ordinaries + a few avatars and making even smaller decks. My general goal is to be able to play with friends. Since I am on a limited budget I have also thought about proxying but haven't found a good website.
What do you think i should do ?
I want to check out some living or expandable card games. The main ones (arkham horror, marve champions, lotr and netrunner) dont apeal to me. Any suggestion for other ones ? Maybe even on the indie side ?
I love card games. I currently have almost 30 decks from several games from duel masters to one piece. i want to share my passion with my parents. I want to find something easy that doesnt require a long time commitment and without many rules. They both know reletavly few english words so something with easily explainable keywords would aslo help. I am mostly looking for something i can print in order to play
Hey, I recently got into reading comics with my first one being Absolute Batman vol1.
I heard from some podcasts good things about absolute martian manhunter and I learned that it ends soon on chapter 12.
How long do we usually wait untill we get a collected edition ? If we don't have any confirmation or news should I try and hunt down every chapter ?
