First time traveling out of state to Zion. Was wondering what must have essentials to better prepare for the trip?

I am starting to take my health seriously because of my physical health issues. I have an eos near me. Is there anything I could say to reduce my annual fee of $60? I work in healthcare and just wanted a basic plan, but affordable for me while paying my monthly bills.
