Is there any PSLF hope for me? (2 Parent Plus Loans that were consolidated)
I'm not sure where to go from here. I had 2 Parent Plus loans (roughly $35k each) that I was told I should consolidate in order to get on an ICR plan. Well, the ICR plan is more than I can afford monthly (Approx $900) vs. the standard repayment plan of the consolidated loans of $645. I work at a nonprofit and am qualified for PSLF. What are my options for repayment plans that count towards PSLF? Does the loophole of making one payment on the ICR plan then applying for the IBR still exists? Will payments made on the Standard Repayment Plan count towards PSLF?
