Hi everyone! Yesterday my tire popped while driving, so I went to a Mr Tire to get it replaced. Now for context, I am a 23 year old nurse, who really knows nothing about cars. Not an excuse, but I usually just do what my (very car involved) dad tells me to do. I drive a 2012 Subaru Forester X Touring.

He told me to get Michelin 2 Defender tires from Mr Tire, along with something other stuff. I somehow missed his text saying which tires to get, and they never asked me at Mr Tire, so they ended up choosing for me. I get home, send my dad the receipt, and he is outraged that I left with 4 Falken Sincera tires. I am obviously crying, feel horrible considering he paid for this, so I go outside to investigate the tires.

It turns out they A) put 3/4 tires on the wrong way (it says inside instead of outside) and B) they put two different types of tires on the car. On the front I have 2 Falken Sincera tires (one says inside one says outside), and on the back I have 2 Michelin Defender T H tires (both say inside). I called Mr Tire, they said their guy is gone for the day and to call back in the AM. My dad obviously wants me to get 4 Michelin Defender 2 tires, although not sure if that's a feasible ask or not.

Just would like some advice on how to proceed tomorrow. Doesn't help that they won't have the Defender 2's in for another day or so, and I'm flying out of town this weekend. Should I see if I can get the Defender 2s? What's the real difference between the T H and 2? Any advice would be greatly greatly appreciated. My dad does NOT want me to keep the Falkens though.
